This is more like stir fry than a liquid dal and it is not fried too much, like the stir fried spinach mung dal, which is also a very common dish in many houses in south india.

Ingredients
1 sprigs curry leaves
6 number Garlic
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
4 number Green chili, sliced
1 tbsp Oil
1 number Onion
1 to taste Salt
3 bunch Spinach
1/2 cup split moong dal
1 pinch Turmeric
1 tbsp urad dal
Directions
Take a pan heat oil add urad dal, saute it then add garlic cloves, green chillies saute it now add sliced onions cook till onions are transparent, now add moong dal cook for few mins then add ginger garlic paste mix well then add turmeric saute it, add chopped palak and salt as per taste saute it and cook the palak without closing it with a lid.
palak will ooze out water cook till all water is evaporated.
