Valakkai Podimas or Plantian podimas is a very simple and healthy recipe prepared with raw bananas.Instead of always preparing Vazhakkai curry or roast, you can try this simple recipe for a change as it does not require much oil or ingredients and can be prepared very quickly. It also tastes very delicious as a side dish with rasam and sambar

Ingredients:
Onions 1 Numbers
Salt To Taste
Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoons
Mustard seeds 1/2 Teaspoons
Ginger 1 Teaspoons
chana daal 1 Teaspoons
Urad daal 1 Teaspoons
Red chilly whole 2 Numbers
Coconut oil 2 Tablespoons
Plantain 2 Numbers
Grated coconut 2 Tablespoons
Lemon juice 1 Tablespoons
Hing 1/4 Teaspoons
Green chilli 3 Numbers
Directions:
Take plantain, peel it and cut them into small pieces and boil it and mash them coarsely, Heat coconut oil in a pan add red chilly whole, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana daal, urad daal, curry leaves, hing, ginger, green chilly, salt, and add onions, add mashed plantains, crush pepper corn saut it,add grated coconut, lime juice, toss it and switch off the flame and sprinkle with chopped coriander leafs.
