Carrot payasam or Gajar ka kheer is popular milk based Indian pudding which is easy to prepare and full of nutrition. Grated carrots cooked in ghee and milk garnished with fried nuts. Carrot payasam is a very healthy dessert rich in vitamin A and C. http://www.vahrehvah.com/carrot-payasam Ingredients: Carrot 250 g Milk 500 ml Sugar to taste Cashew nuts 100 g Raisins 50 g Almonds 50 g Cardamom powder 10 g Directions: In a pressure cooker boil the Carrots, cashew nuts in water till they become soft, let it cool down, put this into the blender make a paste.
