Ingredients

  • 3/4 ounce Scotch whisky
  • 3/4 ounce dry sherry
  • 3/4 ounce Port
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters (or orange bitters)
  • 3 or 4 ice cubes
  • Twist lemon peel
  • Maraschino cherry

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except the peel and cherry in a mixing glass and stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the peel and cherry. This drink is sometimes made with orange bitters instead of Angostura bitters, and the peel and cherry are omitted.
