Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups chopped peeled peaches
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup bourbon

Instructions

  1. Start with fresh lemon juice in a pitcher. Combine water, peaches, mint leaves, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Place in freezer 30 minutes. Press through a fine sieve into pitcher with lemon juice; discard solids. Stir in bourbon, and serve over ice.
