There's no credible way to lighten guac since the main ingredient--avocado--is high in fat. But it's heart-healthy.
Ingredients
2 large ripe avocados, peeled
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
Place avocados in a medium bowl, and mash roughly with a fork. Add fresh lime juice, kosher salt, and minced garlic clove; mash to desired consistency. Stir in chopped fresh cilantro.
