This makes for a super-decadent hot cocoa that's closer to European drinking chocolate than your standard powder packet.
Ingredients
- 3 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
- 8-10 drops red food coloring (or as much as you'd like)
- whipped cream
- crumbled red velvet cake
Instructions
- Pour the milk into a saucepan over medium heat. Add chocolate chips and stir frequently, until the chips have completely melted.
- Add red food coloring, a few drops at a time, and stir until you've reached your desired shade of red.
- Pour into mugs. Top with whipped cream and crumbled red velvet cake.
