READ THIS: PROBLEMS WITH YOUR ICE CREAM OR WHICH CREAM TO USE?
Use any cream suitable for whipping (the kind of cream you would use if you were making whipped cream from a dessert) - and yes, you do need to use cream. You cannot substitute it - that's why its called ICE CREAM! ;)
PLEASE NOTE: This is a HOME MADE version of ice cream. It does not contain the "anti-freeze" additives that shop bought ice cream has. When you take the ice cream out of the freezer, it will be solid (like ice) - simply leave the ice cream out of the freezer for 10-15 minutes to soften and then serve ;)

Why this Home Made Ice Cream (made in a blender!) works for PCOS
Desserts on a PCOS plan are not banned, but timing and pairing matter. Eating sweet foods immediately after a balanced meal (rather than on an empty stomach) blunts the blood sugar response, since protein and fat slow gastric emptying. This Home Made Ice Cream (made in a blender!) works best as an occasional post-dinner option rather than a standalone snack.
