Betty demonstrates how to make Zesty Barbecue Sauce. This is a great sauce to put on pulled pork or beef, chicken, ribs, and other meats.
Zesty Barbecue Sauce
1 small onion, diced
¾ cup ketchup
6 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ tablespoon hot sauce
½ tablespoon dry mustard
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and cook until onion is soft. Use as you would use any bottled barbecue sauce. This Zesty Barbecue Sauce is perfect with pulled beef, pulled pork, chicken, steak, hamburgers -- anything you like barbecue sauce on! I will be using this BBQ sauce in the next video upload.
