Drumstick leaves used in any type of curry or stir fries remarkably makes a tremendous difference in the flavours of the dish. Highly nutritious and has a unique taste. Succulent pieces of marinated prawns cooked with slightly fried drumstick leaves along with a tinge of tanginess from the tamarind juice and spices makes this dish truly blissful. Goes extremely well with rice, roti or chapatti! http://www.vahrehvah.com/prawns-with-drumstick-leaves Ingredients: Prawns , small variety - 250 gms Drumstick leaves - 3 tbsps Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp Chilli powder - 1 tsp Salt - to taste Coriander pd - ½ tsp Garam masala - ½ tsp Oil for frying Tamarind juice - 1 tsp Method: In a bowl, put in the small variety of prawns, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and mix all the ingredients well and marinate for some time. In a pan, add little oil and add the leaves of drumstick in hot oil and fry. Cook the leaves till they are nice and crispy. Remove from pan and keep aside. Add the marinated shrimp or prawns in the hot oil. Sauté well and cook for 2 -3 mins. When they slightly done, add in the fried drumsticks leaves and mix well. Add 1 tsp of tamarind juice. Mix and cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 1 min and then switch off the flame.
