Ingredients

  • 2 ounces gin, such as Tanqueray
  • 3/4 ounce creme de violet
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 3 dashes absinthe
  • Ice, for chilling and serving
  • Splash soda water

Instructions

  1. Combine the gin, creme de violet, lemon juice, simple syrup and absinthe in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a highball glass, top with ice and a splash of soda water.
