Ingredients
- 1 bottle sparkling wine, or Champagne
- 4 cups cranberry juice
- 2 quarts orange juice
- 2 quarts orange sherbet, softened
- 15 lbs dry ice chips
- vodka, optional
Instructions
- Pour sparkling wine into a large bowl. Add cranberry and orange juice. Scoop sherbet into bowl until it has produced a nice coating over the top. If you want to raise or lower the alcohol content in the punch, add vodka or clear soda respectively. Yields about 1 gallon.
- Drop in pieces of dry ice for steaming effect, but note that no one should put dry ice in his/her mouth. Ladle into cups.
