The fruit mince is enveloped in home made sweet shortcrust pastry and baked until golden. These gorgeous pies will be a big hit - give it a go!

3/4 Cup of Icing Sugar (Powdered Sugar / Confectioners Sugar)
150g of Butter (chopped)
2 - 3 Tablespoons of Iced Water
FRUIT MINCE:
1 Cup of Mixed Dried Fruit
1 Green Apple (grated)
1/3 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Grated Lemon Zest
1 Teaspoon of Grated Orange Zest
1/2 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon of Mixed Spice
1 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon of Brandy
25g of Butter (melted)
Preparation Time: About 20 minutes
Cooking Time: About 30 minutes
MAKES 12 PIES
