Bacon and blue cheese pair so well in so many dishes. Applying this pairing to our Bacon and Blue Cheese Deviled Eggs makes for a simply delightful treat.
Ingredients
1 dozen eggs
1 tablespoon cooked chopped bacon
3 tablespoons canola mayonnaise
3 tablespoons 2% Greek yogurt
4 teaspoons crumbled blue cheese
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons bacon
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
Steam eggs in a vegetable steamer 16 minutes; cool slightly, and peel. Slice eggs in half lengthwise, and remove yolks; mash yolks.
Stir 1 tablespoon cooked chopped bacon, mayonnaise, yogurt, blue cheese, Dijon mustard, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and salt into yolks. Divide among whites; top with 2 teaspoons bacon and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
