This all-time favorite was inspired by Betty Crocker Facebook fan Stephanie and brought to life by the Betty Crocker Kitchens.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Hershey's™ Cookies 'n' Creme cookie mix
  • Butter and water called for on cookie mix box
  • 1 1/2 cups cookies and cream ice cream (or any flavor)
  • Miniature chocolate chips or colored candy sprinkles, if desired

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 °F. Make cookies as directed on box; cool completely.
  2. For each ice cream sandwich, place 2 tablespoons ice cream between 2 cookies. Gently press cookies together (ice cream should spread to edge of cookies). Roll ice cream edges in chocolate chips. Eat immediately, OR to save for later, wrap sandwiches individually in plastic wrap. Place in resealable freezer bag; freeze up to 1 month.
