  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add water and Brussels sprouts to pan; cover and cook 5 minutes. Add butter, salt, and pepper to pan; cook, uncovered, 2 minutes. Increase heat to high; cook 1 minute, stirring frequently. Stir in lemon rind and lemon juice.
