If you love guac on your burritos, you've gotta try loading it up on a juicy burger.
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 lb. 80% lean ground beef, formed into 4 patties (1/3 lb. each)
- kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 4 slices cheddar
- 4 potato hamburger buns
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1 chipotle pepper, chopped
- 4 slices red onion
- green leaf lettuce
- 1 c. guacamole
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan over high heat. Season burgers with salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes per side; add cheese and cover until melted. Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate to rest.
- Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl combine ketchup and chipotle.
- Layer burgers on potato roll with red onion, lettuce, guacamole, and chipotle ketchup.
