- 3 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Line unpricked pastry shell with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Bake at 450 ° for 5 minutes. Remove foil; bake 5 minutes more. Reduce heat to 325 °.
- Layer crab, asparagus, onion, red pepper and cheese in crust. In a small bowl, beat eggs, cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg; pour over cheese. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
