Fun little chicken strips, quick-fried and glazed with a spicy-sweet sauce, are perfect as an app or entree.

Ingredients

1/3 cup Paula Deen Hot Sauce 1/2 stick butter, melted 1 tablespoon honey 1 lb chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless and sliced lengthwise into 1/2-inch wide strips 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

Whisk together hot sauce, butter, honey, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Toss chicken strips with flour in a large bowl until coated; shake off excess flour. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large sauté pan over medium high heat; add half the chicken strips and sauté until browned, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer chicken to hot sauce mixture and toss to coat. Repeat with remaining oil and chicken strips. Serve on a bed of lettuce with white bread.
