Traditional lasagna can take up to 2 hours to prepare. This skillet version takes less than 1 hour.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
  • 1/2 c. chopped red peppers
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 tub PHILADELPHIA Tomato and Basil Cooking Crème

Instructions

  1. Brown meat with peppers in deep large nonstick skillet; drain.
  2. Stir in sauce and water. Bring to boil. Stir in noodles; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 18 to 20 minutes, or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add cooking creme; swirl with spoon. Remove from heat. Let stand, covered, 3 minutes. Nutrition Information per Serving: 20%DV vitamin A, 30%DV vitamin C, 8%DV calcium, 15%DV iron.
