This strawberry-filled pie is perfect for any warm-weather celebration — it's simple to make and requires no baking!

Ingredients

  • 2 c. fresh strawberries
  • .67 c. boiling water
  • 1 package Jell-O® Strawberry Flavor Geletin
  • ice cubes
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1 tub Cool Whip® Lite Whipped Topping
  • 1 ready-to-use reduced-fat graham cracker crumb crust

Instructions

  1. Slice 1 cup strawberries; refrigerate for later use. Chop remaining berries; set side. Add boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to make 1 cup. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice.
  2. Whisk in Cool Whip®. Stir in chopped berries. Refrigerate 20 to 30 minutes or until mixture is very thick and will mound. Spoon into crust.
  3. Refrigerate 6 hours or until firm. Top with sliced berries. Variation: Prepare using Cool Whip® Free Whipped Topping. Each serving with sliced strawberries provides: 0%DV vitamin A, 40%DV vitamin C, 0% DV calcium, and 4%DV iron.
