Ingredients

  • 24-ounce skirt steak, pounded and tenderized
  • Kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 5 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler to 500 degrees F. Sprinkle each side of the tenderloin with salt. Cook under the broiler for 5 minutes for rare and up to 15 minutes for well done. In a food processor, puree the oil with the garlic. Spoon the garlic puree over the steak 1 to 2 minutes before the steak is done, and then finish cooking under the broiler. Slice the meat and serve hot.
